Skin Cancers and Skin Lesions

Mr Ian Carlisle is a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (see bio under About Us).

He consults at Erase for diagnosis and surgical management of skin lesions, both benign and malignant.

The non-surgical methods for managing benign skin lesions at Erase include laser removal and photo-dynamic therapy.

Medicare Referrals

In order to claim a portion of your fee from Medicare, a current referral from your GP is required before making an appointment for this service.

Any suspicious lesions are biopsied under local anaesthesia and sent for analysis by the Pathology Department at Cabrini Hospital. Once we receive a diagnosis, your ongoing management plan will be discussed with you and we will make the arrangements for your immediate ongoing care.
