What are Facial Vessels?
Facial Vessels are made up of many blood vessels grouped together in the skin.
Small spider veins often appear on the face and other parts of the body as we age or as a result of an accident or medication.
We treat Facial Vessels using Intense Pulsed Light(IPL™), which is a breakthrough in medical technology for fading spider veins on the face and other parts of the body.
IPL’s unique and flexible design helps your technician customise treatment to your specific needs. Treatment is safe and effective.
What is IPL™
IPL™ is a non-invasive medical system that uses light therapy to fade facial spider veins and other vascular conditions safely and without the need for surgery.
IPL™ generates intense pulsed light, which safely coagulates unsightlly blood vessels so they fade and slowly disappear. Treatment is applied by placing a hand held treatment unit on your skin.
IPL™ also safely reduces melanin, the dark pigment in the skin, allowing the pigmented lesions to fade slowly and disappear.
Will the treatment hurt?
Since IPL™ uses a light rather than needles or incisions, treatment feels like a pinch or snap of a rubber band. Local anaesthetic or pain medication is not required.
Is IPL™ better than other treatment methods?
IPL™ uses innovative patented technology that allows your treatment to be customised specifically to your skin type and blemish. This flexible interactive approach sets IPLTM apart from other technologies.
