What is IPL™

IPL™ is a non-invasive medical system that uses light therapy to fade facial spider veins and other vascular conditions safely and without the need for surgery.

IPL™ generates intense pulsed light, which safely coagulates unsightlly blood vessels so they fade and slowly disappear. Treatment is applied by placing a hand held treatment unit on your skin.

IPL™ also safely reduces melanin, the dark pigment in the skin, allowing the pigmented lesions to fade slowly and disappear.

Will the treatment hurt?
Since IPL™ uses a light rather than needles or incisions, treatment feels like a pinch or snap of a rubber band. Local anaesthetic or pain medication is not required.
