Hair Reduction with IPL laser / Soprano Diode
What is Hair Reduction?
The means of treating unsightly hairs on body and face has become an ever increasing demand for both male and female. Erase Aesthetic Services have been utilising medical Laser and Light based modalities in a safe and effective manner for over 13 years.
We have different methods of hair reduction treatment, since every individual has different hair types (density and colour) and skin colour. The best way to choose the right treatment depends on various aspects including machine integrity, quality assurance, qualification, and expertise of individual skin types, which make a significant difference in the outcome of your treatment.
You can trust that our clinicians have extensive training and qualification in treating different hair and skin conditions. Our dermal clinicians hold Bachelor in Science Degrees for Dermal Therapies, degrees which are based on dermal sciences, laser physics and wound care management.
Our machines and technologies being used for medical professions are approved by FDA (US)/TGA (Australia), and modalities undergo regular maintenance by specific engineers of laser companies.
IPL Hair Removal – Before After
We offer the following hair reduction treatments:
IPL Laser Hair Removal
Epilight- Intense Pulse Light (515-755nm)
Intense Pulsed Light can be used to remove unwanted hair from any part of the body. It is used for skin types 1-3 as well as to treat finer or fair coloured hairs. The use of IPL (Intense Pulse Light) allows more variation in settings, which makes it an indispensable technology for stubborn to treat areas.
Hair Removal with Soprano Diode
Soprano- Diode Laser (810nm)
This laser is excellent for darker skin types & efficiently treats larger areas such as the legs, back & chest.
The treatment uses an 810-nm diode laser with an in-motion technology to provide a virtually pain-free treatment without the need for cooling or other numbing agents.
- In Motion Technology
A breakthrough in patient comfort, speed of procedures and repeatable clinical results. It heats the hair follicles to the proper damage point very gradually – without causing discomfort.
- Works with all skin types. Soprano works on all pigmented hair and all skin types – including tanned skin.
- Fast coverage rate with the sweeping technique, and can treat a lower leg in less than 20 minutes.
What is the cost of Laser Hair Removal

How many IPL Hair Removal treatments will I need?
The number of sessions required will vary but usually an average of 8 – 10 is required.
Is IPL Hair Removal treatment painful?
Sensations felt may vary from person to person. However, it is generally agreed it is far less painful than waxing and electrolysis. We offer cooling devices during the treatment to minimise the sensation felt during the treatment. This helps to reduce excess heat developing during and post treatment.
How will I feel after the treatment?
You may feel a mild burning sensation and some slight redness which usually disappears within 24-48hrs.
Can any hair colour be treated with IPL Hair Removal?
As a general rule, dark hair on fair skin is the easiest to treat as the colour of the hair absorbs the energy. Fair and very fine hair is more difficult, particularly if the skin has colour in it from recent sun exposure or self-tanning products. If possible you should aim to have any hair removal treatment during the winter months when pigment cells are less active.
