Photo Dynamic Therapy
What is Photodynamic Therapy?
Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) is a procedure which treats various skin conditions such as Acne, pre-cancerous lesions, and sun damage. We call it a “Turbo-Charged Photo-rejuvenation” whereby a topical agent known to selectively treat abnormal skin cells via a light source is applied on the skin. This painfree procedure may take 30-60 minutes to complete. Upon completion, direct sunlight is to be strictly avoided for 24-48 hours.
PDT can be used to treat the following skin conditions:
-Acne & acne scarring
-Pre-Cancerous lesions such as Actinic Keratosis
-Overall Sun damage
