Photo rejuvenation is performed using Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy. A series of treatments results in a significant reduction in fines lines, unwanted pigmentation, redness and an improvement in the texture and tone of the skin. IPL is effective on the face, neck, arms and hands.

How many treatments will I need?
Each person is assessed individually but usually 4 - 6 treatments spread a month apart is recommended. Then a maintenance treatment every 12 - 18 months will be required.

Is it painful?
No local anaesthesia or analgesic is required and the sensation can best be described as like the flick of a rubber band on the skin. Some redness, bruising or localised swelling may occur after treatment but this is usually minor.
